West Ham fightback proves a point
West Ham came from behind twice to salvage a point in an absorbing encounter, as they drew 2-2 against Hull at the KC Stadium.
Goals by Hull new boys Hernandez, a £10M summer signing, and Mo Diame, formerly of West Ham, had twice given the Tigers the lead, but a resilient West Ham side equalised each time and almost won in injury time. The pick of the goals was a 25 yard effort by Colombian Enner Valencia on his Premier League debut. The result moves Hull up to 10th in the league, with West Ham also moving up to 13th. The Hammers will hope to take their fighting form to Anfield where they face Liverpool in their next Premier League fixture on Saturday.
