How to Play
To take part in the SMS Prediction Challenge, firstly visit and like the SMS Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/smsofficial.
Now simply sit back and wait for the weekly challenge, a weekly Facebook post asking you to predict the scores in a selection of football fixtures. Predict the scores in a reply to the post and then see how you fare as the matches are played over the following days.
Prediction Points are awarded for the accuracy of your predictions, if you get the exact score correct you receive 3 prediction points, if you get the exact score wrong but correctly predict the winning team, or a draw, you receive 1 prediction point. If you get the wrong result altogether, you receive 0 prediction points.
Score the most prediction points to be the weekly champ and receive 1 Championship Point and take your place on the leaderboard, the Hall of Fame.
The person who claims the most Championship Points over the course of the season wins the SMS Prediction Championship!
In the event of a tie on points, total number of goals predicted will be considered, with the closest to the actual total goals scored being designated winner and receiving 1 Championship Point, and those who missed out on goals predicted being designated Runner Up status and receiving 1/2 Championship Point.
